Reconciliation assistant - or how to save 4 hours of work every day?
The banking industry has many processes that take a lot of time to finish. Many of them lead to overwork of employees, decreasing their satisfaction and productivity. We offer an RPA solution to this problem by taking the rule-based processes and submit them to automation.

The challenge
Our client encountered a problem with a time-consuming process involving a high volume of structured data transformations, done both manually and partially automated through Excel macros. The data is provided in multiple formats, which are hard to be automated through traditional means.
Due to multiple report types, this was a time-consuming task for the operator, taking about 3-4 hours every day to perform.
The solution
The future state aims at decreasing the lead time for amount reconciliation. With this goal settled, the solution groundwork was to structure data in configurable data libraries for each report, used by the software robot to read different keywords and formats to translate the content into meaningful information.
As a solution, we proposed the use of an Attend Robot. The robot does the data identification, processing, and validation, 18 times faster than before, improving the processing time to a maximum of 10 minutes every day.
